Growing up in Lafayette, Louisiana, George always understood the value of hard work and dedication. As a Loan Officer/Owner for Woods Mortgage and Financial Services, LLC, his hard work has paid off. George is a graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a major in Finance and a minor in Marketing.

He started his career as a Financial Representative with Northwestern Mutual Financial Network where he acquired valuable customer service and sales skills, becoming the Rookie of the Year. He then went on to Wells Fargo Financial, where he picked up his expertise of mortgage lending. He rose through the ranks quickly by being top of his Region continuously, which landed him his own branch in Baton Rouge, La.

He then went on to become a Branch Manager with Regions Bank and a Reporting and Financial Specialist with State of Louisiana.

All of this financial services experience led George to birth Woods Mortgage and Financial Services, LLC on January 14, 2019. He provides honesty, determination, and hard work to make the borrower’s dream of home ownership a reality.

He is a God fearing Christian who puts God first, then being a husband and father of 3 children. You will rest well knowing George is “YOUR” Loan Officer.
